Loss Contingencies

Loss contingencies, including claims and legal actions arising in the ordinary course of business, are recorded as liabilities when the likelihood of loss is probable and an amount or range of loss can be reasonably estimated. As of December 31, 2011, there were various pending legal actions and proceedings against the Company arising from the normal course of business and in which claims for damages are asserted. Management, after discussion with legal counsel, believes that these actions are without merit and that the ultimate liability resulting from these legal actions and proceedings, if any, will not have a material effect upon the consolidated financial statements of the Company.
