On August 11, 2017, First Merchants Corporation issued a press release announcing the declaration of a cash dividend of $0.18 per share. The cash dividend is payable on September 15, 2017 to stockholders of record as of September 1, 2017. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

First Merchants Corporation declared a cash dividend on August 10, 2017 of $0.18 per share. The dividend is payable on September 15, 2017 to shareholders of record as of September 1, 2017. For purposes of broker trading, the ex-date of the cash dividend is August 30, 2017.
