On August 15, 2014, First Merchants Corporation issued a press release announcing the declaration of a cash dividend of $0.08 per share. The cash dividend is payable on September 19, 2014 to stockholders of record as of September 5, 2014. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

First Merchants Corporation declared a cash dividend on August 14, 2014 of $0.08 per share, payable on September 19, 2014, to shareholders of record on September 5, 2014. For purposes of broker trading, the ex-date of the cash dividend is September 3, 2014.
