Colony Bankcorp, Inc. Increases Third Quarter Dividend

FITZGERALD, Ga., Sept. 20, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Colony Bankcorp, Inc. (Nasdaq:CBAN) announced today that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.0925 per share payable October 12, 2007 to shareholders of record on September 28, 2007. This represents an increase of 12.12 percent over the cash dividend paid of $0.0825 per share in the third quarter a year ago and an increase of 2.78 percent over the cash dividend paid of $0.09 per share last quarter. This is the nineteenth consecutive quarter that the Company has increased its dividend payment.
