Savings & Investment Plan is an employee stock ownership plan which represents a combination of the Thomas Nelson ESOP and the C.R. Gibson ESOP plans. The combination was completed during calendar year 2000, and the name was changed from the Thomas Nelson Employee Stock Ownership Plan to the Thomas Nelson, Inc. Savings & Investment Plan. The Employee Benefits Committee has the power to direct investment decisions (other than permitted participant transactions). The Employee Benefits Committee is comprised of Troy Edens, Executive Director/Finance; Eric Heyden, Vice President and General Counsel; Rusty Faulks, Human Resource Director; and Les Hottovy, Tax Director.
