Item 1.02 Termination of a Material Definitive Agreement.
National Property Investors 6, a California limited partnership (the “Registrant”), owns Colony at Kenilworth Apartments (the “Property”), a 383-unit apartment complex located in Towson, Maryland.
As previously disclosed, effective November 25, 2014, the Registrant entered into a Purchase and Sale Contract (the “Purchase Agreement”) with a third party, Laramar Kona Real Estate Associates LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (the “Purchaser”), to sell the Property to the Purchaser for a total sales price of $45,500,000.
On January 13, 2015, the Purchaser delivered written notice of its election to terminate the Purchase Agreement. Pursuant to its terms, the Purchase Agreement was terminated.
