On September 7, 2012, the Board of Directors of NBTY, Inc. (the “Company”) appointed Joseph Looney, the Company’s Vice President-Finance, as the Company’s Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Looney, 54, joined the Company in June 2007 and has been the Company’s Vice President-Finance since then.
