Description of Company and Basis of Presentation	Note 1 – Description of Company and Basis of Presentation We are a dedicated contract development and manufacturing organization (“CDMO”) that provides a comprehensive range of services from process development to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (“CGMP”) clinical and commercial manufacturing of biologics for the biotechnology and biopharmaceutical industries. Except where specifically noted or the context otherwise requires, references to “Avid,” the “Company,” “we,” “us,” and “our,” in this Annual Report refer to Avid Bioservices, Inc. and its subsidiary. Basis of Presentation and Preparation The accompanying consolidated financial statements have been prepared in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (“U.S. GAAP”) and include our accounts and those of our subsidiary. All intercompany accounts and transactions among the consolidated entities have been eliminated in the consolidated financial statements. The preparation of our consolidated financial statements in conformity with U.S. GAAP requires management to make estimates and assumptions that affect the amounts reported in our consolidated financial statements and accompanying notes. Management’s estimates are based on historical information available as of the date of the consolidated financial statements and on various other assumptions that are believed to be reasonable under the circumstances. Accounting estimates and judgments are inherently uncertain and actual results could differ materially from these estimates. Segment Reporting Our business operates in one operating segment, our contract manufacturing and development services segment. Accordingly, we reported our financial results for one reportable segment. All our identifiable assets are in the United States.
