Nanometrics Incorporated (the “Company”) will hold an analyst and investor meeting on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at the Company’s headquarters in Milpitas, California. Presentations will be made by senior executives regarding Nanometrics’ markets, products, operations and finances.

The meeting is expected to begin at approximately 8:45 a.m. PST and conclude by 1:00 p.m. PST. A live webcast of the event will be made available on the Company’s website under the “Investor” heading at www.nanometrics.com.
