(b)  On February 22, 2021, J. Stephen Vanderwoude, who has served as a director of First Midwest Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) since 1991, informed the Company that he has decided to retire from the board of directors upon the completion of his current term of office, which will expire at the annual meeting of stockholders to be held on May 19, 2021.
