Item 8.01     Other Events.

On June 18, 2007, US Airways Group, Inc. (the "Company") announced that it has agreed to terms with Airbus S.A.S. for the acquisition of 92 Airbus aircraft, including 60 single-aisle A320-family aircraft and 32 widebody aircraft, including the next generation A350 XWB. 

A copy of the Company's press release regarding the foregoing is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
