On January 5, 2012, Jean-Luc Butel resigned as Executive Vice President and Group President for International Operations of Medtronic, Inc. (the “Company”), effective January 20, 2012. Mr. Butel is not entitled to any benefits upon his departure other than those benefits that are offered to all Company employees.
