Income Taxes	INCOME TAXES Our effective tax rate was 33 percent and 36 percent for the three months ended March 31, 2016 and 2015, respectively. The 2016 tax rate includes a $4 million state income tax benefit on uncertain tax positions resulting from the expiration of applicable statutes of limitation and the tax benefit of the domestic production deduction which allows a deduction for certain qualified production activities within the U.S.
