Common Stock

During 2014, the Company repurchased 15.5 million shares of its common stock for total consideration of $800 million. In May 2014, the Board of Directors of the Company authorized share repurchases of up to $2 billion of the Company's common stock. The Company remains authorized to purchase additional shares of its common stock up to a value of $1.3 billion. There is no time limit on the authorization. During 2013, the Company purchased 13.2 million shares of its common stock for total consideration of $550 million.
