The service provider has acknowledged the transaction was in error.  A transaction was undertaken by the service provider on October 22, 2004 to correct the error.  Subsequent to the transaction on October 22, 2004, the reporting person's 401(k) account correctly reflected the reporting persons holding of Lydall common stock.</footnote>
