Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition

On February 16, 2021, Louisiana - Pacific Corporation (LP) issued a press release announcing financial results for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2020. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.

Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On February 16, 2021, Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release reporting its financial results for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2020, providing its first quarter of 2021 outlook, and announcing strategic updates with respect to (i) the conversion of the Company’s mill in Houlton, Maine from Laminated Strand Lumber (LVL) and Oriented Stand Board (OSB) to SmartSide production, (ii) the conversion of the Company's OSB mill in Sagola, Michigan to SmartSide production sometime after siding production begins at the Houlton mill, (iii) initiating the process to restart the Company’s Peace Valley OSB mill in Fort St. John, British Columbia, and (iv) the exploration of strategic alternatives with respect to the Company’s remaining Engineered Wood Products (EWP) segment, including a possible sale in whole or in part. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
