Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

As previously disclosed, K-V Pharmaceutical Company (NYSE: KVa/KVb) (the “Company”) hosted a conference call today Monday, February 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. EST to discuss the U.S. Food & Drug Administration approval of Makena^TM as well as provide a general update on other company matters.

The presentation slides used during the call are attached hereto as Exhibit 99. The information in this Item 7.01 shall not be deemed “filed” for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 or otherwise subject to the liabilities of that section.
