J. W. Mays, Inc. issued a press release on June 8, 2011, reporting its
financial results for the three and nine months ended April 30, 2011. The
press release reported revenues for the three and nine-month periods ended
April 30, 2011, and net income for the three and nine-month periods ended

REPORTS ON OPERATIONS
FOR THREE MONTHS AND NINE MONTHS ENDED APRIL 30, 2011
J. W. Mays, Inc. today reported its financial results for the three and nine
months ended April 30, 2011.
Revenues from Continuing Operations for the three months ended April 30, 2011,
were $3,794,152 compared to revenues of $3,763,617 in the comparable 2010
three-month period, while revenues from Continuing Operations for the nine
months ended April 30, 2011, were $11,109,373 compared to revenues of
$11,141,691 in the comparable 2010 nine-month period.
Net income from Continuing Operations for the three months ended April 30,
2011, was $213,627, or $.11 per share, compared to net income from Continuing
Operations of $61,454, or $.03 per share, in the comparable 2010 three-month
period. Net income from Continuing Operations for the nine months ended April
30, 2011, was $382,968, or $.19 per share, compared to net income from
Continuing Operations of $500,791, or $.25 per share, in the comparable 2010
nine-month period.
Net loss from Discontinued Operations for the three months ended April 30,
2011, was ($10,411), or ($.00)per share, compared to a net loss from
Discontinued Operations of ($15,026), or ($.01) per share, in the comparable
2010 three-month period.
Net loss from Discontinued Operations for the nine months ended April 30,
2011, was ($187,771), or ($.09) per share, compared to a net loss of
($37,260), or ($.02) per share, in the comparable 2010 nine-month period.
Net income for the three months ended April 30, 2011 was $203,216, or $.11 per
share, compared to net income of $46,428, or $.02 per share, in the comparable
2010 three-month period.
Net income for the nine months ended April 30, 2011, was $195,197, or $.10 per
share, compared to net income of $463,531, or $.23 per share, in the
comparable 2010 nine-month period.
