Regulation FD Disclosure.   The Company issued a press release on October 29, 2003 that advised that the CART Champ Car and the NASCAR Winston West Series events scheduled for November 1 and 2, 2003 at The California Speedway had been postponed because of the state of emergency due to the wildfires in southern California.  A copy of the release is attached as an exhibit.  The Company today issued a press release that two events had been officially canceled and which provided guidance concerning the expected impact to the Company’s fourth quarter results as a result of the cancellations.  A copy of that release is also attached as an exhibit.

INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY ANNOUNCES CART CHAMP CAR AND NASCAR WINSTON WEST SERIES EVENTS
POSTPONED AT CALIFORNIA SPEEDWAY

DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA – October 29, 2003 – International Speedway Corporation (“ISC”) (Nasdaq/NM: ISCA; OTC Bulletin Board: ISCB) today announced The King Taco 500 Bridgestone Presents the CART Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford and the NASCAR Winston West Series King Taco 200 scheduled for this weekend at California Speedway have been postponed due to the state of emergency declared in San Bernardino County, California, and surrounding counties as a result of wildfires burning in the area.  Potential alternative dates for rescheduling the events are being reviewed.

After the consideration of several factors, including the proximity of the fire, air quality, transportation issues, staffing requirements and guest safety, as well as the request of state and local officials, California Speedway has postponed this weekend’s events.  The Company does not expect the postponement to result in a material adverse impact on its financial condition or results of operations.

DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA – October 30, 2003 – International Speedway Corporation (“ISC”) (Nasdaq/NM: ISCA; OTC Bulletin Board: ISCB) announced The King Taco 500
Bridgestone Presents the CART Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford and the NASCAR Winston West Series King Taco 200 have been officially cancelled.  These events, originally scheduled to take place November 1st and 2nd at California Speedway, had been previously postponed due to the state of emergency declared in San Bernardino County, California, and surrounding counties as a result of wildfires in the region.

The Company expects the cancellation to negatively impact fourth quarter total revenue and earnings by $4 million to $5 million and $0.01 to $0.02 per diluted share, respectively.  In addition, fourth quarter results will be further impacted by a mutually agreeable amount to cover legitimate expenses reasonably incurred by CART in preparing for the event.  This undetermined amount will be deducted from the $2.5 million pre-tax organization and rights fee due back to ISC, which had been previously paid to CART per the terms specified in the official organizer/promoter agreement.
