Emtec, Inc. Announces 1st Quarter 2008 Results
1st Quarter 2008 Operating Income Up 807% From 1st Quarter 2007

Marlton, NJ, January 14, 2008 – Emtec, Inc. (OCTCBB: ETEC) announced today that for the quarter ended November 30, 2007 revenue was $74.6 million, a 15% increase from $64.9 million for the quarter ended November 30, 2006. Operating income was up 807% at $2.50 million, with net income of $1.2 million, or $0.09 per share, compared to operating income of $276 thousand and net income of $33 thousand for the quarter ended November 30, 2006.

Management attributes the strong first quarter results to strong sales, particularly to its commercial, education and federal government clients.
