OTHER EXPENSE	OTHER EXPENSE For the quarters ended June 30, 2014 and 2013, Other income (expense) included $365 and $168, respectively, of net currency exchange (losses) in connection with the translation of receivables and payables denominated in currencies other than the functional currencies of Griffon and its subsidiaries as well as $1,437 and $12, respectively, of net investment income. For the nine months ended June 30, 2014 and 2013, Other income (expense) included $1,044 and ($299), respectively, of net currency exchange (losses) in connection with the translation of receivables and payables denominated in currencies other than the functional currencies of Griffon and its subsidiaries as well as $1,563 and $365, respectively, of net investment income.
