OTHER INCOME (EXPENSE)	OTHER INCOME (EXPENSE) For the quarters ended December 31, 2023 and 2022, Other income (expense) of $632 and $607, respectively, includes $13 and $67, respectively, of net currency exchange gains in connection with the translation of receivables and payables denominated in currencies other than the functional currencies of Griffon and its subsidiaries, net periodic benefit plan expense of $34 and $216, respectively, and net investment income of $56 and $33, respectively. Other income (expense) also includes rental income of $0 and $212 and royalty income of $592 and $549 for the three months ended December 31, 2023 and 2022, respectively.
