OTHER EXPENSE	OTHER INCOME (EXPENSE) For the quarters ended December 31, 2016 and 2015, Other income (expense) included $46 and $431, respectively, of net currency exchange gains in connection with the translation of receivables and payables denominated in currencies other than the functional currencies of Griffon and its subsidiaries as well as $87 and $192, respectively, of net investment income.
