In the Current Report on Form 8-K dated May 3, 2006, Tesoro Corporation (the “Company”) reported that Rodney Frank Chase had been elected to the Company’s Board of Directors effective May 3, 2006 and would be appointed to one or more committees at a later date. Effective August 1, 2006, Mr. Chase was appointed to the Audit Committee and Governance Committee of the Board of Directors. The Current Report on Form 8-K dated May 3, 2006 is hereby amended as required under Item 5.02 to reflect the appointment of Mr. Chase to these committees.
