Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On October 21, 2005, Mr. Bruce A. Smith, Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tesoro Corporation (the “Company”) announced on CNBC’s “Closing Bell” that the Company ran its refineries close to full capacity in the 2005 third quarter. The Company’s total rated refining capacity is 558,000 barrels per day.
