IEC Announces Acceptance of its Plan of Compliance by NYSE MKT

Newark, NY – June 17, 2013 – IEC Electronics Corp. (NYSE MKT: IEC) announced today that the NYSE MKT notified the Company that it accepted the Company’s plan to regain compliance with the continued listing requirements of the Exchange.

On May 20, 2013, the Company received notice from the NYSE MKT Staff indicating that the Company does not satisfy the Exchange’s continued listing requirements due to its failure to timely file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 29, 2013, as set forth in Section 1003(d) of the NYSE MKT Company Guide. The Company submitted a plan of compliance to the Exchange on May 31, 2013. On June 13, 2013 the Exchange notified the Company that it accepted the Company’s plan of compliance and granted the Company an extension until August 15, 2013 to regain compliance with the continued listing standards. The Company will be subject to periodic review by Exchange Staff during the extension period. Failure to make progress consistent with the plan or to regain compliance with the continued listing standards by the end of the extension period could result in the Company being delisted from the NYSE MKT LLC.
