The carrying amount of goodwill for our reportable segments has been retrospectively adjusted to conform to the 2017 business segment reclassifications as discussed in Note 1. Amortization expense for other intangible assets was approximately $18 million for the three months ended September 30, 2017 and 2016. For the nine months ended September 30, 2017 and 2016, amortization expense for other intangible assets was approximately $54 million and $59 million, respectively.
