Item 8.01    Other Events.

On February 12, 2020, HNI Corporation’s (the “Corporation”) Board of Directors (the “Board”) elected Jeff Lorenger, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation, as the Chairman of the Board and appointed Larry Porcellato as the Lead Director, both effective February 12, 2020. A copy of the related news release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
