Property, plant and equipment, net at April 30, 2021 and 2020, consisted of the following (in thousands):

Depreciation and amortization expense was $2.9 million and $3.0 million for the fiscal years ended April 30, 2021 and 2020, respectively.

Maintenance and repairs charged to operations was approximately $827,000 and $706,000 for the fiscal years ended April 30, 2021 and 2020, respectively.
