OTHER ASSETS	OTHER ASSETS Through the second quarter of 2017, the Company held equity interests in the acquired companies identified in Note 3 - Acquisitions for various strategic purposes. The investments were accounted for under the equity method and were included in “Other assets” on the Company’s consolidated balance sheet. The carrying amount of the investments were adjusted for the Company’s proportionate share of earnings, losses, and dividends. The investments were not considered material to the Company’s financial position, either individually or in the aggregate. During the second quarter of 2017, the remaining interests of these equity method investments were purchased (see Note 3 - Acquisitions), bringing total ownership of these entities to 100 percent. As of December 31, 2017, there were no equity method investments recorded on the Company’s consolidated balance sheet. Prior to the purchase of the remaining interests, the Company’s proportionate share of earnings from its equity interests, were included in the “Other income, net” line of the Company’s consolidated statements of income. The amounts were immaterial for the years ended December 31, 2017, December 31, 2016, and January 2, 2016, respectively.
