On October 29, 2004, in connection with the acquisitions of Community First Bankshares, Inc. and USDB Bancorp, BancWest obtained short-term debt financing from BNP Paribas in the amount of $590 million. The borrowing has an interest rate of 1.96% and maturity date of November 29, 2004.
