On March 6, 2013, Universal Health Services, Inc. received notification from Leatrice Ducat that she has decided to resign from our Board of Directors (“Board”), effective immediately. We are grateful for the many years of dedicated service Ms. Ducat has provided to our company since her appointment to our Board in 1997.
