Community Trust Bancorp, Inc. announced today an increase in its cash dividend from 24 cents per share to 26 cents per share payable on January 1, 2006 for shareholders of record as of December 15, 2005.

COMMUNITY TRUST BANCORP, INC., (NASDAQ-CTBI) INCREASES ITS CASH DIVIDEND

The Corporation increased its cash dividend to $0.26 per share, which will be paid on January 1, 2006, to shareholders of record on December 15, 2005. This represents an increase of 8.33% in the quarterly cash dividend.
