Acquisitions

ACQUISITIONS

We purchased three stores and related assets during the nine months ended September 30, 2013. The acquisitions were Don Davis Toyota in the Dallas, Texas market, which was completed on May 1, 2013, and SanTan Honda Superstore and Hyundai of Tempe in the Phoenix, Arizona market, which were completed on May 22, 2013. Acquisitions are included in the Unaudited Condensed Consolidated Financial Statements from the date of acquisition. We did not purchase any stores during the three and nine months ended September 30, 2012.

The acquisitions that occurred during the nine months ended September 30, 2013 were not material to our financial condition or results of operations. Additionally, the pro forma consolidated income statements as if the results of these acquisitions had been included in our consolidated results for the entire nine month period ended September 30, 2013, would not have been materially different from our reported consolidated income statement for this period.
