Item 2.04 Triggering Events That Accelerate or Increase a Direct Financial Obligation or an Obligation Under an Off-Balance Sheet Arrangement.

Jo-Ann Stores, Inc. will redeem all outstanding principal amount of its 7.5% Subordinated Notes due 2012 (the "Notes") on March 1, 2010. The redemption of the current outstanding balance of Notes of approximately $47.5 million will be at 100% of the principal amount in accordance with the terms of the indenture. The notice of redemption will be mailed to the holders of the Notes on or prior to January 29, 2010.
