The Chief Financial Officer of Environmental Tectonics
Corporation (the "Company") requires additional time to prepare
and review the Company's financial statements for the fiscal
quarter ended May 25, 2001 because he just recently returned
from a short-term leave of absence to attend to a serious
illness in his immediate family.
