The following information is furnished pursuant to Item 8.01, “Other Events.”
On April 19, 2007, Electro Rent Corporation issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors has initiated a regular quarterly cash dividend, and declared the first quarterly dividend of $0.10 per common share, representing an annual rate of $0.40. The first dividend will be paid on July 10, 2007 to shareholders of record on June 20, 2007.
A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
