Item 5.02(e) Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On October 14, 2020, Pioneer Energy Services Corp. (the "Company") entered into an extension of the consulting agreement with Matthew S. Porter, the Company's Interim Chief Executive Officer and a director, originally dated July 17, 2020 (the "Consulting Agreement"), to extend the term of the Consulting Agreement through December 31, 2020. All other terms of the Consulting Agreement remain in full force and effect.
The foregoing summary of the Extension of Consulting Agreement is qualified in its entirety by reference to the full text of the extension, a copy of which is filed as Exhibit 10.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated by reference herein.
