Item 8.01 Other Events.

On January 6, 2005, MICROS Systems, Inc. (“MICROS”) issued a press release to announce the acquisition of JTECH Communications, Inc. JTECH Communications, Inc., is headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, and will be operated as a wholly-owned subsidiary of MICROS. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99 to this report on Form 8-K.
