Peterson, Vice President and Senior Trust Officer of Compass Bank, on behalf of Compass Bank, the Trustee of the San Juan Basin Royalty Trust (the “Trust”), not in its individual capacity but solely as Trustee of the Trust, hereby certify that:

1.
