        On June 11, 2003, Andrew Corporation issued a press release announcing that the Securities and Exchange Commission has declared effective the Form S-4 Registration Statement filed by Andrew with the Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with the pending merger with Allen Telecom Inc. and the related stockholder meetings.
