Summary of Organization and Nature of Business	(1) SUMMARY OF ORGANIZATION AND NATURE OF BUSINESS Range Resources Corporation is a Fort Worth, Texas-based independent natural gas and natural gas liquids (“NGLs”) company primarily engaged in the exploration, development and acquisition of natural gas properties in the Appalachian region of the United States. Our objective is to build stockholder value through returns-focused development of natural gas properties. Range is a Delaware corporation with our common stock listed and traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “RRC”.

The entire disclosure for the nature of an entity's business, major products or services, principal markets including location, and the relative importance of its operations in each business and the basis for the determination, including but not limited to, assets, revenues, or earnings.
