Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On March 24, 2016, Douglas A. Greenlee resigned as a director of Hardinge Inc. (the “Company”), effective immediately due to health reasons. Mr. Greenlee’s resignation from the Company’s Board of Directors was not the result of any disagreement with the Company or for any of the other reasons requiring further disclosure under Item 5.02(a) of Form 8-K. The Company thanks Mr. Greenlee for his many years of service to the Company.
