T. Rowe Price International Bond Fund

Supplement to Prospectus Dated May 1, 2017

The fund’s current management fee consists of two components—an individual fund fee of 0.35% and a group fee that declines at certain asset levels and is calculated daily based on the combined net assets of all T. Rowe Price Funds (funds-of-funds, TRP Reserve Funds, Multi-Sector Account Portfolios, and any index or private-label mutual funds). On May 31, 2017, the annual group fee rate was 0.29%. On August 1, 2017, the fund’s individual fund fee rate will be reduced from 0.35% to 0.20%. To reflect the lowering of the fund’s management fee, effective August 1, 2017, the fee table and expense example on page 1 is revised as follows:

Example This example is intended to help you compare the cost of investing in the fund with the cost of investing in other mutual funds. The example assumes that you invest $10,000 in the fund for the time periods indicated and then redeem all of your shares at the end of those periods, that your investment has a 5% return each year, and that the fund’s operating expenses remain the same. Although your actual costs may be higher or lower, based on these assumptions your costs would be:

Effective August 1, 2017, the first paragraph below the “Group Fee Schedule” table on page 10 is replaced with the following:

The fund’s group fee is determined by applying the group fee rate to the fund’s average daily net assets. On May 31, 2017, the annual group fee rate was 0.29%. The individual fund fee, also applied to the fund’s average daily net assets, is 0.20%. On August 1, 2017, the management fee was reduced from 0.35% to 0.20%.

In addition, effective August 1, 2017, T. Rowe Price has agreed to limit the Investor Class’ and Advisor Class’ total expense ratio to 0.74% and 0.99%, respectively, of each class’ average daily net assets, through at least April 30, 2020. To reflect the new limitations on the Investor Class’ and Advisor Class’ total expense ratio, effective August 1, 2017, the following two paragraphs are inserted as the second and third paragraphs below the “Group Fee Schedule” on page 10:

With respect to the Investor Class, T. Rowe Price has agreed (through April 30, 2020) to waive its fees and/or bear any expenses (excluding interest; expenses related to borrowings, taxes, and brokerage; nonrecurring, extraordinary expenses; and acquired fund fees) that would cause the class’ ratio of expenses to average daily net assets to exceed 0.74%. The agreement may be terminated at any time beyond April 30, 2020, with approval by the fund’s Board. Fees waived and expenses paid under this agreement are subject to reimbursement to T. Rowe Price by the fund whenever the class’ expense ratio is below 0.74%. However, no reimbursement will be made more than three years after the waiver or payment, or if it would result in the expense ratio exceeding 0.74% (excluding interest; expenses related to borrowings, taxes, and brokerage; nonrecurring, extraordinary expenses; and acquired fund fees).

With respect to the Advisor Class, T. Rowe Price has agreed (through April 30, 2020) to waive its fees and/or bear any expenses (excluding interest; expenses related to borrowings, taxes, and brokerage; nonrecurring, extraordinary expenses; and acquired fund fees) that would cause the class’ ratio of expenses to average daily net assets to exceed 0.99%. The agreement may be terminated at any time beyond April 30, 2020, with approval by the fund’s Board. Fees waived and expenses paid under this agreement are subject to reimbursement to T. Rowe Price by the fund whenever the class’ expense ratio is below 0.99%. However, no reimbursement will be made more than three years after the waiver or payment, or if it would result in the expense ratio exceeding 0.99% (excluding interest; expenses related to borrowings, taxes, and brokerage; nonrecurring, extraordinary expenses; and acquired fund fees).

The date of this supplement is July 26, 2017.
