EX-99 2 a4911112ex99.txt EXHIBIT 99 - PRESS RELEASE Exhibit 99 Printronix Provides Outlook for First Quarter of Fiscal Year 2006 IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 15, 2005--Printronix, Inc. (NASDAQ:PTNX), the leading manufacturer of integrated enterprise printing solutions for the supply chain, today announced it is experiencing a slow-down in orders as it enters the last few weeks of the fiscal quarter ending June 24, 2005. If these trends continue, revenue for the first fiscal quarter of 2006 could be as much as five percent below revenue of $32.7 million reported in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2005. The company attributes the lower revenue to weakness in Europe and Asia Pacific. The company continues to closely manage costs while investing in sales and marketing capabilities and in its radio frequency identification and line matrix solutions. Despite cost reduction programs, the company could record a net loss for the first quarter of fiscal year 2006.
