Dispositions	17. Dispositions 2020 Disposition On March 2, 2020, we sold our Logistics Courier business within the Business Services segment for net proceeds of $10.4 million. The disposition of this business resulted in a pre-tax loss of $9.1 million during the nine months ended September 30, 2020, which was recorded in Loss from the sale of discontinued operations in the Condensed Consolidated Statements of Operations. 2019 Dispositions On October 25, 2019, we completed the sale of substantially all of the Global Document Solutions (“GDS”) business for approximately $53.7 million. GDS primarily provides statements and print management services in Europe. The disposition resulted in a loss of $3.8 million, which was recorded in Other operating expense (income) in the Consolidated Statements of Operations. On May 8, 2019, we sold the R&D business within the Business Services segment for net proceeds of $11.6 million. The disposition resulted in a gain of $6.1 million during 2019, which was recorded in Other operating expense (income) in the Consolidated Statements of Operations. On March 31, 2019, our subsidiary, RR Donnelley Editora e Grafica Ltda. (“RRD Brazil”), filed for bankruptcy liquidation in bankruptcy court in Brazil. The bankruptcy petition was approved by the court shortly thereafter and a bankruptcy trustee was appointed. As a result of the bankruptcy liquidation, we recorded a gain of $4.0 million in Other operating expense (income) during 2019, primarily reflecting the reclassification of cumulative currency translation adjustments into earnings and ongoing expenses associated with the bankruptcy proceedings. Subsequent to March 31, 2019, the operating results of RRD Brazil are no longer included in our consolidated results of operations except for legal fees associated with the bankruptcy proceedings. The operations of RRD Brazil had been included in the Business Services segment.

2020 Disposition

On March 2, 2020, we sold our Logistics Courier business within the Business Services segment for net proceeds of $10.4 million.
