Income Taxes | Income Taxes During the three months ended July 30, 2016, income tax expense differed from what would be computed using the statutory federal tax rate primarily due to the effect of state and local income taxes partially offset by tax benefits recognized for federal tax credits. During the three months ended August 1, 2015, income tax expense differed from what would be computed using the statutory federal tax rate primarily due to the effect of state and local income taxes, which included benefits for legislatively-enacted state income tax rate reductions. During the six months ended July 30, 2016, income tax expense differed from what would be computed using the statutory federal tax rate primarily due to the effect of state and local income taxes partially offset by tax benefits recognized for federal tax credits. During the six months ended August 1, 2015, income tax expense differed from what would be computed using the statutory federal tax rate primarily due to the effect of state and local income taxes. |
