On November 7, 2011, James L.M. Chen, Executive Vice President, International Operations of Diebold, Incorporated (the “Company”), after discussions with the Company, provided notice of his intention to retire. It is anticipated that his retirement from the Company will become effective toward the end of the first quarter of 2012.
