Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On January 4, 2010, David Bucci, Senior Vice President, Customer Solutions Group notified Diebold, Incorporated (the “Company”) that he would be retiring in 2010. Mr. Bucci will remain with the Company on a consulting basis while he transitions his responsibilities to Charles E. Ducey, Jr., who was renamed the Company’s Executive Vice President, North America Operations. Mr. Ducey previously served as Senior Vice President, Global Development and Services for the Company.
