Our Business	Our Business We provide a wide range of horticultural services to residential, commercial, utility and institutional customers throughout the United States and Canada. Residential and Commercial Services provides for the treatment, preservation, maintenance, cultivation, planting and removal of trees, shrubs and other plant life; its services also include the practice of landscaping, tree surgery, tree feeding, and tree spraying, as well as the application of fertilizer, herbicides and insecticides. Utility Services is principally engaged in the practice of line clearing for public utilities, including the clearing of tree growth from power lines, clearance of rights-of-way and chemical brush control. Resource Group provides services related to natural resource management and consulting, forestry research and development, and environmental planning and we also maintain research, technical support and laboratory diagnostic facilities. When we refer to “we,” “us,” “our,” “Davey Tree,” and the “Company,” we mean The Davey Tree Expert Company, unless the context indicates otherwise.
